Meet Kateryna, the lead artist of our game.Here’s what she had to say:

1. How many characters are created with specific coworkers in mind?

- None of the characters are directly based on our office life. They are inspired by myths and literary depictions of Vikings. However, for some animations and artwork, we did use team members as references for movements, facial expressions, or gestures. This added more authenticity and liveliness to the characters.

2. How did you come to this job?

- I’ve always loved drawing and creating new worlds. This passion guided my career choice, so I earned a degree in "Computer Graphics Art" at university. Joining this amazing team was a natural step in my professional journey, and now I have the opportunity to bring my ideas to life in the captivating world of Farland.

3. With all the incredible buildings, items, and outfits, what else do the artists add to the game?

Artists add countless details to the game, crafting unique landscapes for locations and arranging objects to tell engaging stories. They also work on object animations and develop visual effects to create the right atmosphere. Additionally, they design new characters to ensure each one looks unique and seamlessly fits into the game’s world.

Easter eggs are often included as well - small replicas of objects or hints at other episodes that attentive players can notice and appreciate.
